DILG urges LGUs to make rules for caroling

The Department of the Interior and Local Government on Sunday called on local governments to make guidelines regarding caroling during the Christmas season this year amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to a report on “24 Oras” on Sunday, caroling is now allowed in areas under Alert Level 2.

DILG Undersecretary Martin Diño urged LGUs to remind carolers to observe minimum health protocols.

He said minors aged 11 and below are still not allowed to go caroling because they are not yet vaccinated.

Metro Manila mayors already said they will discuss the common policy and guidelines regarding caroling. — Ma. Angelica Garcia/BM, GMA News
